POSTMORTEM

faceless fathers
of daughters fallen from sky

empty domes with absolute arches
contort one distance

carves a limbo vision
shrinks another

father’s thumb
swallowed by

collar rot of winged bean
in Papua New Guinea

fathers haunted
daughters hiding what melts

not unlike her insides
drumming

SHELF LIFE

Coiled tongues revel

strike in ribbons

perceive this one as

candy-eyed

tacit collection

rag my face

after the parade

bequeath me to a believer

ALWAYS AFTER THE HUNT

along the line you steal
a bit more on the other side
where breath suspends in old squares
pull the last brick and petal
before the death
soliciting chimps
in the shit cage
pinch off the last vein
and land away at September
erased
